- I’ve been writing for twenty years and illustrating for around sixteen.
- My editorial cartoons have featured on Stuff.co.nz and newspapers across New Zealand and in blogs / websites for various organisations.
- My Spot-the-difference illustrations appear in Australasian newspapers each week with a reach of over one million readers.
- I specialise in fun, unique fish illustrations with a huge completed catalogue.
- I’m constantly challenging myself with new styles and areas.
- I also make illuminated aquatic sculptures from recycled materials (portfolios here: Aquatic Sculptures | OneKickDuck)
- I graduated from Victoria University in Wellington with a BSc in Zoology/Molecular Biology/Genetics.
- I have two grown-up children who would likely never admit it in public, but thoroughly enjoy their father’s writing and illustrative works.
I am looking to collaborate:
with an agency / agent who can see the value in my work – completed, in progress, and yet to come.
In brief:
Particularly and to begin with, I would like to get my Spot-the-Difference puzzles published in various media and newspapers around the world.
I have several children’s book concepts I’d like to discuss, and if appropriate how they might be written, illustrated, and published. Potentially, using my collection of imaginary fish illustrations.
I have several full-length novels completed for mostly young readers – I’d like to investigate getting those reviewed and perhaps published.
For my sculptures, I’d like to investigate getting these exhibited locally.
I’d like to see if my style and area of illustrating would be interesting to a publisher, for an author, book, or project they’re considering.
