Conduilettica mariya is a 2 metre long representation of a member of the Anguilliformes (eels) family. Its vertebrae are based on office cable conduit, made rigid by copper strips bolting sections together. An array of flickering LEDs ranging from purple to red pulse and shimmer along the length of the eel. In addition, a 5 metre long orange electro-luminescent wire is coiled within the vertebrae, extending through to the tail formed out of some discarded medical equipment and a valve from a dead antique radio.

The head has been sculpted from shampoo bottles, and backlit using filament bulbs and yellow LEDs for nostrils. The pectoral fin is made from carefully-heated and shaped glass capillary tubes.

The sculpture is powered by a recycled 19.5V power supply, and its control box allows switching, dimming etc. of the various components.
