Cuprisorta ctheresa is a sculpture inspired by a ctenophore, an oceanic organism that shares several similarities with jellyfish. This work is made principally from recycled office cable conduit and a child’s asthma ventilation spacer. It features soft pink LEDs inside and on top of the body, and has several delicate tentacles covered in tiny, faintly-lit filament bulbs. Powered by a recycled 19V laptop supply and mounted on a custom copper rod / stand.
